A Nice Stay with Excellent Service!

The staff were really good, especially when they helped us with a last-minute Christmas surprise. Make sure to ask for local dining recommendations. They really know the best spots in the area.

Clean, great value hotel, its location was excellent and just off bistro as well as the Austin 360 Amphitheater/race track. The food was great - a lot of options.

Well, there was no service.

Fairly clean hotel in a nice building just off South Austin. Favourable location very close to the airport. Tidy and incredible rooms with balcony and good bar area. Clean facilities there. The pool area is great too. No charge for wake up service and ironing too.

No breakfast unless you want to pay for it. For $175/night, you'd think Marriot could spare a complimentary cup of coffee and a muffin? The room service food was expensive and mediocre.

No refrigerator in the room, elevator operation was pretty slow. I would guess prices were elevated due to being the Formula 1 race weekend.

The beds seemed old and noisy and I could feel the springs.

The place had obviously been renovated and was done very well. It was also very clean. The staff was friendly and very professional.

There was no complimentary breakfast and the breakfast sandwiches where very over-priced. The only issue with the room was that there was not a mini fridge. I do not really care to have it loaded with stuff I'll be charged a ridiculous amount for taking but I would have liked to have had a place to put my left overs or just to keep a water or two cold.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean with comfy beds.

Hard to get to if your south bound on 35

The lobby is beautifully decorated with warm colors, and the layout is easy to navigate for seniors. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist with anything I needed.

Improve noise insulation in the rooms.

We stayed in a handicap room but the restroom was tiny and toilet was very low. Could not maneuver in restroom.

I enjoyed how close the hotel was to the Austin Winery, just over a kilometer away, perfect for a leisurely stroll, and I loved being able to easily visit McKinney Falls State Park with beautiful views and trails for a nice hike. The room was nice, clean, and spacious, ideal for a single traveler like me looking to explore the city on foot and take in some local attractions.

Horribly slow elevators. Bad access from from main road. You had to take several side streets to get to the entrance.
